Sliedrecht – de Jong DUKE introduced its new range espresso and coffee machines named EDGE at Host in Milan, Italy.

EDGE distinguishes itself with cutting-edge design and technologies. The espresso and coffee machine operates energy efficiently, provides easy maintenance and is user friendly on and offline. Its contemporary newly designed interface is intuitive and a real eye-catcher. EDGE looks dynamic and robust with its brushed stainless steel panels, LED features and large 10,4” full color touch screen on which videos can be displayed when the machine is online with use of ConnectMe.

EDGE delivers a wide range of quality drinks. Customization is possible through adjustments of the menu, selections, icons and cup sizes. This espresso and coffee machine comes in two sizes that can feature brewing systems CoEx®, filterfresh® or instant technology. Various options include payment systems, base cabinets, ConnectMe and canisters extensions.

EDGE is easy to set up for both self-serve and full-serve mode. This combined with a possible daily throughput of 150 plus drinks make the EDGE a perfect fit for many office locations or foodservice applications. Options like a waste guide, drain connection and automatic cleaning make the machine ideal for any mid-size volume location where a high quality beverage should be combined with an easy and hassle free operation.

ConnectMe is an online application that brings de Jong DUKE coffee machines online and offers full 2-way communication. With ConnectMe and a LAN, Wi-Fi or GPRS connection, the machine is brought online for communication purposes or for remote access and advanced monitoring. The ConnectMe software can also enable operators to optimize their service, reduce cost and improve user experience.

EDGE is on display at Host Milano in Milan, Italy. Come and see EDGE at booth C30 D29 in Hall 14. Host starts October 20 and ends October 24.
